I'll Love You Forever!
Update: After my last night's posts, Sebastian started in with the diarrhea again and he spiked a fever. At 12:30 he had a 103° and we were changing clothes. The Tylenol/Motrin helped bring his temperature down and he rested better through the night. That was the last big issue with him. He went all day today with no diarrhea and a low-grade fever off & on. About 6:00pm he was 98.6°. I hope tonight goes better and we don't have a relapse of last night. He just had a dose of Tylenol (temp at 99.6°) and he's in his bed watching The Bee Movie. We couldn't get him in to see his pediatrician today as he is out of the office until Monday and everyone else was booked. He has an appointment for tomorrow, if need be. I just want to make sure that he's not contageous as he has a huge birthday bash that he MUST make his appearance at but we don't want to contaminate the birthday boy in the process!
He stayed home with Daddy today and was a huge Momma's Boy when I got home. He was stuck to my hip like glue...seriously!! It made my heart so happy loving and playing with him tonight. Not that I don't love that every night, but it was almost like sitting outside myself watching & cataloging those memories, thinking how lucky I am to have those moments and how much I love him and being a Mommy. It's the most amazing feeling. I get caught up in just watching him play and how smart he is.
He came out of the kitchen with a coffee cup (no one in our house drinks coffee, but somehow I ended up with this cup...maybe a Christmas trinket gift...anyway) and he says to me...
S - Momma, I gwink cockee. You want cockee?
M - Yes, please.
S - I heat up [he runs to his kitchen set and puts the cup on the stove and it lights up & bubbles and then it dings]. Ding, done! (this is what he says everytime he hears the microwave ding). [He picks up the cup and takes a sip] Owww, that cockee hot, burn my mouf. [He tips his cup over like he's pouring it out, then he looks at me.] I spilled Papa's cockee in the floor.
M - Uh, oh. We better clean up.
S - Momma clean poo on my bed.
M - Yep, Momma cleaned it all up, now it's gone.
S - Thank you, Momma
And, if that wasn't cute enough for you...
I just tucked Sebastian in his bed. I kissed and hugged him a gazillion times and said, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always {then he grins really really big}, As long as I'm living my baby you'll be" then kissed him on the nose and said, "Right!?" He said, "Right. You my baby, Momma" awwwww [sniff, sniff...ok, it's more like snort, snort, gasp for breath lol--but, I'm sure all you mother's out there, especially mother's of boys, understand!]
