First Haircut

I finally decided that it was time to have Sebastian's hair cut. He has needed one for quite some time; however, it has really been hard for me to part with that beautiful blonde baby hair. It was getting long and beginning to curl in the back--so cute! The new cut is absolutely adorable, as if he could be anything but; however, it does make him look like such a big boy. It's amazing how a few snip snips could make such a big change. He was happy about the change and he did cry, but we managed to get a cute cut...check it out!

Busy Busy Christmas

Sebastian has been in great demand this Christmas. He had to do his Christmas photo session at Sarah Kingree Photography to start the season. I had previously posted pics from this session, but she just sent this one the other day that I just LOVE. He is just so adorable!

We went to see the light display at the Lights of the Delta in Blytheville, AR. I was not so impressed, but we did get to visit Santa and Sebastian had his picture made with him.

Between Sebastian being sick with two ear infections and David & I being sick with the stomach flu, Sebastian attended his first Christmas party at daycare. All the kids exchanged gifts and Ms Kristal presented them all with gifts and handmade ornaments for the Christmas tree. Sebastian and I made yummy yummy gooey butter cookies to take to daycare and they were a huge hit. I will include the recipe at the end of this post. Try them, they are YUMMY!!!! Here is Sebastian opening his gift daycare.

Sebastian also had to make his appearance at Mommy's office Christmas party. I tried several times to get his pictures made with Santa at my office party, but he would not have anything to do with that Santa, so we only got a picture of him "next" to Santa. He made sure Daddy didn't get too far away. Lots of my co-workers had their children in and out of the office and I just fell in love with a set of 5 1/2-month-old twin girls. They are absolutely gorgeous!! I told David that we needed a set of twin girls LOL! He said that I needed to go home and check my fever, I may still be sick! HAHAHA

Lilliana & Isabella

After all the daycare and office parties, light displays and mall Santa's Christmas finally made it here. We had Christmas Eve at Aunt Kim's house and the kiddo's ran around eating and playing to their hearts content. Sebastian got to open more gifts, although, Therron's gifts were way more fun to play with than his.

Little Drummer Boy

All decked out in his Christmas Eve Best!

And sugar plum fairies danced in his head...

Sebastian left out cookies and milk for Santa and boy, was Santa good to him. He got a big boy Power Wheels Kawasaki four-wheeler like his cousin Tristin and he most definitely knows how to use it. After he finally got through unwrapping all those gifts, he drove back and forth across the house until Daddy and I were completely pooped. Here are some fun pics from Christmas! It was a wonderfully perfect Christmas, but I'm so glad it's over!!!!

Sebastian having a big 'ole turkey leg on Thanksgiving. He thought that was the yummiest turkey leg ever. Here is Sebastian is giving his cousin, Lizzie a kiss. She was really excited, she just loves Sebastian. We finally got around to putting up our Christmas tree. Here's Sebastian helping out!And here's what it looks like all decorated; however, it didn't last long. It has been a crazy year with the Christmas tree. Sebastian undecorated the bottom half, of course, and then our stand broke and the whole thing fell over.
And last but least here is my Christmas Angel Baby all decked out in front of the tree. Isn't he precious?

One Year Checkup

Today was Sebastian's one year checkup and (dum dum dum) immunizations. Dr Dye was backed up with patients this afternoon so we waitly quietly in the waiting room. Sebastian was a very good boy and the most well-behaved munchkin there. I was so proud. Sebastian finally got a room and we got weighed and measured. Sebastian weighs in at 24lbs, down a pound from our last visit and 31 1/2" tall, which is a whole inch more than last time. He is a healthy little kiddo. Sebastian strutted his stuff all over Dr. Dye's office, but yet as soon as he hits the floor at home...down on his hands and knees he goes....

Here's Sebastian and Dr. Dye during his exam

Anyway, he took his shots like a little man. The first one he puckered up but calmed down quickly, the 2nd was a little worse, but the third was a little hard to take. He looked at me as if to say, "What the hell are you letting them do to me?". He got a sucker afterwards, so all was well with the world again. We headed down to the lab and Sebastian trotted around all over like it was a huge playground until they called him for his lead screening. He was royally pissed at April, who was the lab tech (she went to school with Mommy) and the sticker she tried to give him was no concilation. He was very upset over the finger prick and he cried and jabbered on all the way out to the car. The lady in the lobby said that was saddest sob story she ever heard. Really it was...he told anyone that would listen about how torturous they are and would hold up his bandaged finger for proof.

On a lighter note, Sebastian was playing in the floor with his Daddy last night and Daddy sneezed really loud. It startled Sebastian a little and he jumped but then he about fell over in the floor laughing at him. It was so hilarious. Then David starting fake sneezing and Sebastian would just laugh hysterical. I caught part of it on video, but by then he was getting bored with Daddy's fake sneezing, but here it is...

Happy Halloween

Today was a very busy day for Sebastian. He had his Halloween party at daycare, then he came home and had to party again, because apparently, the mayor of Campbell has the authority to move Halloween to whatever day he so chooses and HE says we have to celebrate Halloween today. (I'll skip the "my opinion" portion of the blog, but note the sarcasm in that comment!) Anyway, here are some pics from Sebastian's fun-filled Halloween.

Rise and Shine! Starting the day out with some static and a smile...
All the daycare kids brought their costumes today and everyone brought treats and had fun. After Ms Kristal and Ms Stephanie got everyone in their costumes, they got to go trick or treat the neighbor who was already prepared with some treat bags that Ms Kristal had made for the kids.
Sebastian was asleep before we ever made it home from daycare and he slept for over an hour once we got home. Just getting in some beauty sleep before tackling the costume again.
After he finally woke after (with a few kisses from Mommy to help motivate him) he had supper and got all dressed up again for some fun with all those cousins. Here are some pics of the whole gang! Darth Vader (Tristin), Motocross Racer (Tyler), Jadeybug Ladybug (Jayden), Fifi the Poodle (Kinlee), Deer Hunter (Dyson) and a little Skeleton (Therron) and of course, the cutest little Monkey ever (Sebastian)!

My Reason to Blog...

Sebastian...the absolute love of my life. He is our currently only child. He is almost 3 and is as independent as they come. He loves washing his hands & swinging. He would live outside if he could. He's developing a love of thunderstorms from his Mama & Daddy. He looks adorable in flip flops. He loves talking on the phone. He has gorgeous blue eyes & dashing dimples. His favorite thing to eat is fruit or Starbursts. He sleeps with his blue snowman blanket wankwie. He loves to be tickled or chased. He loves his Mama & Daddy more than anything!
