Pickin' Out Pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch

This afternoon, after our nap, we drove out to Pumpkin Hollow to buy some pumpkins. There were so many to choose from that Sebastian had a hard time picking his favorite. We ended up with several pumpkins, a few colorful gourds and bunches of the small ornamental gourds. Sebastian had a great time feeding the goats and ponies, lounging in the wagon while we picked out pumpkins and hanging with the Gourd Head Family. Sebastian even got measured...he is 3' tall this Fall!! WOW, what a big boy!

Walking in High Cotton

I can't believe a year has passed since our first cotton pictures. Sebastian will be turning 2 in 23 more days :(! Life sure does pass so fast. We are trying to take every moment and savor it ♥ ♥ Today I took Sebastian out to do some fall cotton pictures. This seems to mark the start of fall for us and I hope that it becomes a tradition because I just ♥ cotton pics...so American!! It just happened that we ended up taking the pics in the exact same cotton field as last year. They just have some beautiful crops (close to Dudley, the turnoff @ Otter Sleugh where you turn on Hwy Z[orZZ] from Hwy H[orHH] -- don't quote me though 'cause I'm terrible at directions)!! Anyhoo...here's some pics!

Delta Fair FUN!

We spent last Saturday afternoon with Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Anson, Jayden, Kinlee & Dyson at the Delta Fair in Kennett. I was worried about Sebastian having a good time because he had not had a nap, but he had a wonderful time. There were just a few kiddie rides for his age, but he definitely loved them. He ♥'d the Super Trucks but by far his favorite was the carousel! I know we had to ride the carousel at least 10 times. Luckily it was the only ride that we didn't have to wait in line to ride. Kinlee & Dyson liked getting to ride with their cousin and taking care of him on the rides. Jayden loved getting to ride all the big rides with her Daddy. Sebastian's first fair was a big hit! ♥ ♥ ♥

Digital Scrapbooking

I've found another passion in my life...digital scrapbooking. It is hugely addictive and I am enjoying learning and creating new ideas. I found some wonderful ideas from the galleries on this site -- some truly talented people out there. I have done 8 layouts since last Wednesday. Check out my gallery at scrapbook.com...

Beautiful Afternoon at Chalk Bluff

Sebastian, his Daddy and I drove out to the Chalk Bluff yesterday afternoon. It was absolutely beautiful outside yesterday and we couldn't miss an opportunity to enjoy the weather. Sebastian played awhile on the playground, chased a little lizard with a bright blue tail and scouted for bugs EVERYWHERE we went. Of course with him being outside, he found plenty to play with. It was rather funny watching him with David...we didn't take his stroller because he usually wants to walk himself; however, he made David carry him most of the way through the walking trail. About 2/3 of the way through, he gathered his 2nd wind and we had to chase him through the rest. He loved walking out to the lookout and seeing the water. I thought the afternoon was great and enjoyed having nice "family" time with Sebastian.

Choo Choo

My Handsome Little Boy - He's JUST PERFECT!

Sebastian ♥'s trains! He can sit and watch a choo choo for hours, chugging his arm and yelling "SHOO SHOO". Yesterday afternoon when we came home from daycare, we took a drive up to the Campbell park and played on the caboose train. He thinks it's wonderful. Here's some pics of Sebastian posing on the "shoo shoo"! ☺☺☺

My Reason to Blog...

Sebastian...the absolute love of my life. He is our currently only child. He is almost 3 and is as independent as they come. He loves washing his hands & swinging. He would live outside if he could. He's developing a love of thunderstorms from his Mama & Daddy. He looks adorable in flip flops. He loves talking on the phone. He has gorgeous blue eyes & dashing dimples. His favorite thing to eat is fruit or Starbursts. He sleeps with his blue snowman blanket wankwie. He loves to be tickled or chased. He loves his Mama & Daddy more than anything!
