I Can't Believe August is Almost Over

Dang, this has been a super busy month. Sebastian went to three birthday parties - his cousin Therron turned 3, his cousin Jayden turned 5 and his friend Hayden turned 1. We have been busying playing, hanging out with cousins and buying birthday presents. With the weather as nice as it has been, we have thrown in several trips to the park. It has been a wonderful month. Now with my work going to 4-10hour days, we get the whole day Wednesday to sleep in, catch up on our toons and PLAY ALL DAY!!! We have been having so much fun that we've almost went through August in the blink of an eye. Now the busiest time of the year is FAST approaching - birthdays, Halloween, and of course, CHRISTMAS!!! Hooray!!

What's Behind Door #2?

As I was checking myspace the other night, I scrolled across Sebastian's birthday ticker as it showed "Sebastian is 1 year, 9 months old". I suddenly realized that my BABY BOY would be two in just three more months. It's amazing how different he is compared to this time last year. He has turned into a little man right before my eyes. We may begin embarking on the potty training stage in the very near future. I keep putting it off. Maybe because I know how much work it is or just because this is just one step closer to independence. I'm still trying to hold on to that baby somewhere inside him, but it's hard when I hear that little voice say "I not baby"!

Quickie Post

The St. Francis Picnic was on Satuday. They had a toddler beauty pageant and of course, I had to put my gorgeous little man in. It was hot and miserable and should have someone's foot in butt for torturing my sweet little guy. He the cutest little guy, not cooperative at all and didn't really show his "sweet side", but still the cutest nonetheless! Anyhow, he placed 2nd. Here's the pics!

Our Camping Trip - 2008

Last week we took a wonderful camping trip at Whippoorwill Lake in Marble Hill, MO. We had such a great time. Although we got a little wet on Friday, the skies cleared by the afternoon and we got to watch an awesome firework show. Unfortunately, Sebastian fell asleep before the "big ones" but all-in-all it was a terrific weekend. Here are some shots from our weekend.
